Cupid Falls Celebration

Join the community of Young Harris as they celebrate Cupid Falls. Master gardeners will be taking groups along for tours along the trail and falls. Enjoy the beautiful falls with your family. With a paved parking lot and a level path to the falls, this event is perfect for everyone. There will be free ice cream for all who join in the celebrations!

First Friday Night Market- Art & Artisan Market

The Hiawassee Night Market was inspired by a visit to a similar market in South Georgia. Recognizing the need for a communal space where people of all ages could gather outdoors, enjoy local artists, fresh and prepared foods, and live music, the idea took shape. The Hiawassee Downtown Development Authority (DDA) embraced this vision, leading to the creation of the Night Market. The concept was straightforward: provide art, live music, games, and food in an inviting outdoor setting for everyone.

The market features an impressive array of artisans, growers, and food vendors. Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair to relax and enjoy the live music.

Hiawassee DDA presents 2024 Fun-Draiser Back to the 80’s

Celebrate the rich musical talent of Electric Avenue at the 2024 Summer Fun-Draiser – Back to the 80’s. The show promises a high-energy journey that transports you back to the days of coming home from school, putting on a record, and conjures memories of first dates, first cars, and prom nights.

The concert starts at 6:00 pm and all proceeds benefit The Paris Business Center Restoration in Downtown Hiawassee. Along with the concert, you can enjoy a silent auction, food trucks, drinks and more fun!

The Fun-Draiser is a beautiful opportunity to support The Paris Business Center Restoration in Downtown Hiawassee and experience the unique sound and spirit of Electric Avenue.
