The Hiawassee Downtown Development Authority (DDA) embraced this vision, leading to the creation of the Night Market. The concept was straightforward: provide art, live music, games, and food in an inviting outdoor setting for everyone.
The market features an impressive array of artisans, growers, and food vendors. Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair to relax and enjoy the live music.

Hiawassee DDA presents 2024 Fun-Draiser Back to the 80’s
Celebrate the rich musical talent of Electric Avenue at the 2024 Summer Fun-Draiser – Back to the 80’s. The show promises a high-energy journey that transports you back to the days of coming home from school, putting on a record, and conjures memories of first dates, first cars, and prom nights.
The concert starts at 6:00 pm and all proceeds benefit The Paris Business Center Restoration in Downtown Hiawassee. Along with the concert, you can enjoy a silent auction, food trucks, drinks and more fun!
